CT - 4399 Material Handler I

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs physical and administrative tasks involved in the handling and storage of inventory.
• Executes distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Participates in material movement with various equipment, including PLTs.
• Participates initiatives to update and improve material data stored in Epicor and Omnify
• Helps ensure clean and safe conditions throughout area of responsibility.
• Collects, and reports departments KPIs to Leadership as directed.
• Executes layout changes to warehouse racking at the direction of Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a role responsible for issuing and handling material.
• Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Previous forklift experience or ability to pass forklift training and exam.
• Previous experience installing and removing pallet racking preferred.
