The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Sales Director to help us grow by building strong client relationships and placing high-caliber consulting talent into enterprise and mid-market organizations. If you’ve sold consulting services, technology solutions, system integration, or outsourcing before, and you have a strong network, this could be a great fit.
This is a commission-only role, but we offer an above-market commission structure and a clear path for growth. Sales Directors who exceed $1M in annual consulting sales will have opportunities to advance in leadership as we scale.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire and expand enterprise and mid-market accounts.
Build strong relationships with IT decision-makers and HR leaders seeking top-tier consulting talent.
Sell consulting placements and engagements, focusing on technical project managers, AI specialists, and digital transformation consultants.
Leverage your existing network to create opportunities and land & expand within key accounts.
Negotiate and close consulting placements, ensuring alignment between client needs and consultant expertise.
Stay ahead of hiring trends in AI, automation, and digital transformation.
Represent CognaCore at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of five years of sales experience in consulting, technology services, system integration, or outsourcing.
At least one year of experience selling within the digital transformation or artificial intelligence space.
A proven track record of generating at least $1 million in annual consulting sales for a minimum of two years.
An established network of enterprise and mid-market clients seeking consulting talent.
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo or Apollo.io.
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to assess client needs and develop tailored solutions.
A self-motivated and independent approach to building a pipeline and closing deals.
A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Willingness to travel as needed within the United States.
