Location and Travel:
This role is full-time remote based in the US. Periodic travel may be required.
Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Job Summary:
The Program Manager/Project Manager is accountable for the client engagement's overall program activities and operational support with additional responsibilities including, driving project & operational support plans across IT, business, third-party vendors and project teams.
This key role is responsible for managing multiple IT Project Leads to carry out the engagement plan; resolve issues; validate project/business readiness; handle go-live activities; oversee the backlog process; and coordinate operational support, statement validation and financial validation efforts. Additionally, this role is accountable for developing on-going and collaborative relationships while interfacing with various IT project teams, business partners, third-party vendors and to drive the transformation/conversion plan.
Key to success in this role is executing project plans to schedules by ensuring successful delivery of projects using excellent coordination and executive level communication and presentation skills, as well as maintaining a work breakdown structure and providing detailed project tasks, including resources, timelines, dependencies and constraints.
From a communication perspective must proactively identify and resolve potential issues, while minimizing the overall project exposure and provide timely status of task completions, reports and issues/risks associated with ATG and/or client management activities.
Roles and responsibilities:
* The Program Manager/Project Manager must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to work cross-functionally with the various business units, enterprise-wide organizations and selected transformation/conversion vendors.
* Minimum 5 years or related project/program experience required in addition to proven ability to understand business analysis, solutions design, data migration/mapping
* Demonstrated success involving management and leadership responsibilities for other Project/Program Managers
* Experience working in an IT environment with an emphasis on vendor relationships, billing systems and internal systems is highly desired
* Familiarity with multiple quote-to-cash platforms solutions and software packages, (e.g. quoting, order management, provisioning, billing, care, etc.) inclusive of Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Billing Platform
* Possess a good understanding of software and application development, infrastructure, database and system design
* Possess a high level of self-initiative, drive and motivation, along with organizational skills, while being a team player with a high level of accountability and ownership
* Possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, on a large scale business transformation/conversion initiative with set deadlines
* Essential for success in this role is the ability to clearly identify, define and orchestrate resolution of critical path and long lead issues/items as well as identify and mitigate risks
* PMP certification desired, but not required.
