Specific responsibilities will include:
- Use quantitative risk models and optimization to manage multi-asset portfolios
- Perform ongoing, systematic audits of the portfolio rebalancer to ensure portfolios are within the clients’ portfolio targets
- Generating and executing daily trade orders and model-based portfolio rebalancing
- Develop and maintain tools and rebalancer settings to increase trading efficiencies to minimize errors
- Serve on the firm’s Investment Strategy Group (ISG), providing input on strategic and tactical asset allocation guidelines for portfolios firm-wide
- Execute tax loss harvesting
- Monitor cash and yield alternatives (Money Market Funds, CD’s, T-bills, etc.) and communicate best thinking to team
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- FINRA Series 65
- CFA candidate
- 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry in a high-net-worth, client-facing environment, including experience with portfolio operations and performance
- Excellent Excel skills; proficiency with Tamarac, Morningstar, and Bloomberg, AdvisorView and Rebalancer are preferred
- Acute attention to detail and proofing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
