- Regular and timely attendance
- Ensure accuracy of all work; maintain detailed and accurate filing systems
- High level of integrity in maintaining and protecting confidentiality
- Provide on-going communication with the Athletic Director and Building Principal
- Communicate with and assist students, parents, community members and all staff in a thorough and professional manner while responding knowledgeably and making disposition of such items in a timely fashion
- Assist the Athletic Director with MHSAA paperwork and deadlines, coordinate game day workers, organize student athletic paperwork, create weekly eligibility lists, work with the game officials assignors, manage pay lists for game day workers, take phone messages and other related activities
- Notify Public Relations staff and parents of upcoming sports schedules and events including camps, changes to games/practices; maintain updated schedules for the Athletic website; maintain student athletic lists in platform
- Cover elementary secretary lunch 30 minutes daily
- Assist in completing and running reports: maintaining and verifying end of semester/year CTEIS, GAD, Count Day, student activities, State/County reports; report cards/grade verification/progress reports, Honor Roll; transcripts
- Perform duties of receptionist. Receptionist duties may include but are not limited to: receiving telephone calls; answering questions and requests; greeting community members, staff and students; making emergency contacts; delivering messages; selling parking permits; homework requests; assist with correspondence; assist with hall passes; maintain student and staff attendance
- Assist in maintaining student records including: fully enroll/exit students; outstanding fines owed/ payments collected; maintaining and inputting emergency information; locker combinations
- Schedule building usage for staff and public in online platform
- Document and dispense medication to students
- Process athletic and activity account funds
- Process purchase orders and check in materials

- High School Diploma or Equivalent- College preferred
- Successful related job experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

: Compensation will be per the CESPA contract under the Assistant Secretary classification. This position is a .5 (½ time position) 4 hours daily, Monday thru Friday following the staff school year calendar. Daily schedule will be 7:30 a.m. through 12:15 p.m. Additional 4-hour days will include 2 weeks (10 days) after the school year ends and 3 weeks (15 days) prior to the beginning of the school year.
