Mission:
As the Manager, PMO and Change Management within our client's dynamic digital transformation organization, you will play a pivotal role in steering our project management frameworks and change management strategies towards excellence. This critical position is designed for a visionary leader adept at blending strategic planning, digital expertise, and exceptional leadership skills to navigate the complexities of change and project management in a fast-evolving digital landscape. You will be responsible to define and roll out suitable Project Management methodology to organize and accelerate digital transformation efforts. With major investments in streamlining operational processes and deploying state-of-the-art systems, this leader will spearhead the change management efforts for the organization.
Day to day:
- Lead strategic planning for project and change management, driving digital transformation.
- Develop and implement a project management methodology tailored for digital initiatives.
- Design and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to support technology adoption.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and change efforts.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure success and continuously improve practices.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management for projects and initiatives.
- Build and lead a high-performing PMO and change management team.
- Spearhead the deployment of state-of-the-art systems and digital tools across the organization, ensuring they are effectively integrated into existing processes and workflows.
- Develop risk management policies and procedures to minimize potential impacts on project outcomes and organizational objectives.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant leadership roles, including project management, change management, and digital transformation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MIS, CS, Engineering)
- Deep understanding of digital technologies and project/change management methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful project delivery and digital transformations.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered within budget and resources are utilized efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices, including risk management, resource allocation, and project lifecycle management.
- Strong foundation in change management theories, models (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Process), and strategies to manage the human aspects of change during digital transformations.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements affecting project management and digital transformation efforts, including data privacy laws and industry-specific regulations.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to align project management and change management activities with broader organizational goals.
Plusses:
- MBA, Project Management, or related Master's degree preferred.
- PMP, CCMP, ACP, or Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
- Experience in Oil & Gas/Energy/Industrial businesses a plus.
