Collective Premium Cannabis is a growing company in the growing industry of cannabis! Collective is in its 4th year of operation and currently operates 3 retail dispensaries in Littleton, Billerica, and West Boylston. Collective is seeking a part-time candidate who wants to thrive in the inventory department within the Littleton location!

We are conveniently located right off route 495 in Littleton, close to The Point shopping center, Dunks and Starbucks! We offer our employees 30% off ALL of our products. We offer our employees LOTS of training and support.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining an accurate, real-time product inventory within the adult-use cannabis dispensary. Inventory Control Specialists support sales through maintaining an up- to- date and well supported and comprehensive product menu both within the dispensary as well as via online and e-commerce supply channels.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of cannabis products and strains from within the dispensary, as well as industry-wide product knowledge within the region and competing marketplace.

  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an variety of product, and communicating inventory levels with the dispensary management
  • Manage delivery and receipt of products as well as organizing product within the Dutchie Backoffice System.
  • Ensure that products are available to POS customers as well as E-commerce online fulfillment.
  • Communicates to Inventory Control Manager and confirms when deliveries are officially mapped and completed in the system so deliveries are properly tracked and recorded into the Leaf Logix system.
  • Ensures compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Accountable for system efficiency; catches investigates, reconciles, and reports all discrepancies to -Store Manager
  • Conduct inventory audits on a regular periodic basis.
  • Process purchase and sales orders upon receiving invoices/manifests and notifying Inventory Control Manager/ of its availability to map into the system upon completion (Products/Strains will be pre-built into system by Inventory Control Manager beforehand).
  • Keeps an eye on ancillary products and notifies Inventory Manager when in need of purchasing.
  • Establish inventory controls to conduct monthly inventory reviews and annual comprehensive inventories of products at the facility. A written or electronic record shall be created or maintained of each inventory audit with corresponding employee identification numbers, titles or positions of the person who conducts the inventory.
  • Ability to be flexible in a variety of employment roles as scheduling conflicts arise.

Inventory Management & Compliance:

Support the Dispensary Manager to ensure the dispensary has the proper inventory controls in place.

  • Understand and follow all inventory regulations put forth by the state to maintain an accurate inventory for all products.
  • Perform weekly audits of all inventory rooms and reconcile with Leaf Logix to maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Organize and complete periodic audits.
  • Assist in performing daily inventory counts
  • Ensure all returns are processed weekly and the return log is complete and up to date
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve without delay.
  • Ensure their dispensary has the following binder system on site and all counts and documentation are complete and compliant with state regulations
  • Daily Sales Floor Counts
  • Weekly Vault Audits
  • Weekly display audits
  • Outgoing manifests logs
  • Incoming manifests logs
  • Understand and follow all inventory regulations put forth by the state to maintain a 100% accurate inventory for all products supply/inventory.

Delivery /Wholesale Supply Intake:

  • Receive deliveries and ensure product is received and organized within the Leaf logix system. Process all third-party deliveries upon arrival to the dispensary. Verify count is accurate and reject any packages/deliveries with discrepancies
  • Create new items in Leaf Logix for third-party items
  • Process all Collective wholesale deliveries upon arrival to the dispensary
  • Organize cannabis products within the correct Leaf Logix, repackage and create new items within the inventory tracking system.
  • Communicate any discrepancies to Collective management.
  • Coordinate all returning manifests and required paperwork to Collective management and third-party suppliers.

Training:

  • Work with Dispensary Manager to train staff on new inventory processes and procedures within this highly fluid emerging marketplace.
  • Participate in staff meetings to continue to train and develop dispensary staff on regulations, Collective Policy, and processes pertaining to inventory control
  • Participate in all Industry required continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory management and control
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on demand planning and supply chain analytics
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and distribution center operations
  • Proficient in data mining and root cause analysis
  • Experience with purchasing, negotiation, and process improvement
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools, including Tableau and SQL

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
