Collibra is looking for a results-driven marketer with a growth mindset to join our marketing team as the Director of Global Events. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you'll be responsible for the strategy and tactics that deliver marketing sourced goal attainment. As a key team member, you’ll ensure that our marketing efforts are efficient and continuously optimized to deliver the best results for the business. The Director of Global Event’s at Collibra is responsible for:
The standard base salary range for this position is $152,000 - $180,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.

The Director of Global Event’s at Collibra is responsible for:
- Owning the performance of our event strategy to drive demand generation, land new logos, expand our customer base and achieve new business pipeline targets.
- Providing strategic direction and tactical execution to drive a customer-centric approach to deliver the best customer experience and goal attainment for all GTM events.
- Partnering with Integrated Marketing, Portfolio Marketing and GTM leaders to develop event priorities, themes, agendas and multi-channel marketing plans to attain our goals
- Delivering on goal attainment. Monitoring and analyzing marketing’s performance and providing insights to optimize strategies and investments that deliver the best ROI that meet revenue objectives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or 10 years experience in event marketing
- Proven relevant strategic, operational and industry experience to lead events globally.
- Proven ability to achieve pipeline targets. Demonstrable examples of success at the top, mid & bottom of the funnel
- Strong oral, written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present and communicate complex information to all levels of the organization, including presentations to customers
- An exceptional “can do” positive attitude with stand-out interpersonal and communications skills to achieve highly collaborative partnerships with other marketing and cross-functional leaders. Proven ability to influence teams beyond organizational boundaries
- A metrics-driven, process-driven critical thinker with excellent implementation skills
- Accountable, results oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and always thinking ahead
- A learner, from both mistakes, successes and others
- A team player who breaks down silos
- Experienced with Saleforce.com, Asana, and Bizzabo
