What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Operations Specialist ACH/ Wires position at Collins Community Credit Union?
We are looking for a Deposit Operations Specialist with experience in ACH and Wires to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and monitoring ACH and wire transfers, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing ACH and wire transfers accurately and efficiently.
Monitor ACH and wire activity for unusual or suspicious transactions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to ACH and wire transfers.
Reconcile discrepancies in ACH and wire transactions.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to ACH and wire transfers.
Provide support and assistance to members regarding ACH and wire transfer inquiries.
Keep abreast of industry changes and updates related to ACH and wire transfer processing.
Process and verify incoming and outgoing wires daily.
Research and process load errors.
Pay/No Pay daily review.
Complete research projects for internal and external members.
Set up, maintain and process payrolls or debits for business members.
Process and complete various reports daily, including the ACH exceptions reports.
Balance General Ledgers assigned to the Deposit Operations area both daily and monthly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of ACH and wire transfer regulations.
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must have a high attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work as a team as well as independently will be key to success.
