Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact with clients
- Prepare and submit insurance claims
- Review and assess the details of cases
- Organize and maintain case files
- Conduct investigations
- Coordinate and monitor medical appointments and treatment for clients
- Collaborate with attorneys, medical professionals, and insurance adjusters
- Order and track medical records and bills
- Assist attorneys in preparing for negotiations
- Field settlement offers and negotiate medical bill reductions
- Draft settlement disbursement documents
- Maintain organization and integrity of electronic data in case management system
- Provide empathy and support to clients
- Any other tasks delegated by Attorneys
Qualifications:
- Ability to creatively solve problems and suggest solutions
- Self-motivating, intelligent, and disciplined
- Keen organization, planning, and implementation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office required
- First-hand experience and knowledge of legal processes a plus but not required
- 2 years of work experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law practice a plus, but not required
