We are currently recruiting for a Clinician IV within our GWCAC department. This position will be responsible assessing individual, family and community needs related to child behavioral health services. Job Responsibilities

- Provide consultation regarding the scheduling of assessments and delivery of services to Program Specialist, Support Staff, and Supervisees.
- Administer and interpret community-approved assessment tools in order to provide a standardized comprehensive assessment of children and families.
- Initial and ongoing assessment of child and family needs, abilities, strengths and preferences, and service planning.
- Provides brief models of counseling for children, adolescents, and their parents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Monday- Friday: Standard Business Hours.

Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to develop individual service plans for children in collaboration with their families and other service providers.
- Possess knowledge of child and family systems, behavioral health disorders in children, and appropriate interventions for identified problems.
- Must possess the ability to link children and families with needed clinical and support services.
- Ability to maintain an objective, professional and calm relationship with individuals and groups in a stressful situation
- One year of work experience with individuals with serious mental health and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Master’s Degree in a human services field required.
- Must hold a valid license from the Board of Counseling or Board of Social Work ( LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP ) required
DMV record must be submitted with application.
