Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our residents in an INDEPENDENT senior living facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
Duties:
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs to meet the needs of residents
- Coordinate and lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and stimulating environment for residents
- Organize special events and celebrations for holidays and birthdays
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities
- Encourage residents to come down to planned activities
- Create a monthly activity calendar for all planned events activities.
Requirements:
- Experience working in senior care a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to plan and execute engaging activities for individuals
- Proficient in event planning and coordination
Note:
This will be a Monday-Friday position.
The position may become full-time in the future, but not planned anytime soon.
Wage varies DOE
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
