What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Support For Food Manufacturing position at Colonna Brothers Inc?
• Understanding of Health and Safety-not required, but preferred
• Knowledge and Understanding of SQF. Or willingness to learn
• HACCP/Food Safety/Quality/Sanitation-needs to have experience
• Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, and Google Drive.
• Able to comprehend lab reports, and maintain correspondence with the lab for specialized testing and needs
• Able to maintain documentation and update the SQF program as needed-continuously
• Oversight of the training programs that QA Managers are executing
• Able to interact with regulatory agencies
• To be able to retain any upcoming changes to comply with any of the regulatory agencies/codes
• Act as a support staff to be able to prepare required documentation for a series of audits. Customer/SMETA/SQF/Organic etc.
• Maintain portals
• Working with customers on questions/concerns
• Training needed for QA Managers, to be able to accurately be a support for any gaps they may have.
• Working with the QA Managers on any necessary projects
• Create trend reports
• Answer customer surveys and requests-gathering of special samples. Specialized projects.
• Perform walkthroughs and warehouse GMP audits
• Able to perform Mock Recalls
• Update facility maps
• Attend meetings
• Clear communication skills to be able to build relationships with any member of the organization
• Ability to read, write, and speak English-Spanish is a plus
• PCQI required or must be able to obtain once hired
• Project management skills, multitasking
• Able to handle changes
• Exportation documentation
• FSVP knowledge is not required but preferred
• Any related tasks can be asked of these individuals
