The ColourPop team is looking for an experienced (Sr.) Account Manager for our Target channel. We are looking for a self-motivated, strategic professional with an outstanding track record in growing sales within Target profitably. The (Sr.) Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Target business, with a focus on evaluating and driving POS, managing the P&L, analyzing opportunities to optimize sales growth and maximize contribution margin.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Target with a focus on building a strong, long-lasting partnership
- Drive the day-to-day business to achieve budgeted gross revenue (sell-in) and POS (sell-through), gross-to-net deductions, and operating expenses
- Develop and implement plans to manage and grow the account, including working with cross-functional and external partner teams
- Lead assortment optimizations to drive growth in in-store and digital productivity
- Lead the visual merchandising strategy for inline and offshelf opportunities
- Manage POG fixture and signage updates with Target ISM/SEM teams
- Own the POG building process with Category Management third party
- Lead the development of an annual sales calendar, including key initiatives and secondary placements
- Coordinate and communicate needs to support the account across key functions – e.g., fulfillment, marketing, supply chain
- Work closely with demand planning to ensure accurate forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales with a focus on Target account management and strategy in the CPG industry, preferably Beauty
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and margin targets while promoting strong client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills, managing priorities in accordance with company goals
- Be goal-oriented: set and achieve aggressive goals with measurable results
- Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with key account leaders cross-functional team
The annual salary range for this position is $90k-100k. ColourPop also offers a competitive benefits package including vacation time, health benefits, 401k 100% match, paid holidays, product discounts and more.
