Colours Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager specializing in Commercial and Industrial Coatings to join our dynamic team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing a team of sales representatives within the coatings division.

Requirements :

  • Sales Strategy Development :
  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve company sales targets and expand market share within the commercial and industrial coatings sector.
  • Market Analysis :
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the coatings industry. Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management :
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to expand the customer base. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and performance. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting :
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against sales targets, and generate regular reports for senior management. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Product Knowledge and Training :
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, innovations, and technologies within the coatings industry. Provide product training and support to the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively promote and sell company products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Compliance and Ethics :
  • Ensure that all sales activities and processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and professionalism within the sales team.

Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the coatings industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial coatings products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed covering South Dakota and Minnesota
