If so, please consider this opportunity to teach within the Columbia Basin College School of Business and its Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management (BAS-AM) program. We are seeking high-quality teaching professionals to help foster the next generation of leaders, managers, and supervisors in a program focused on cutting-edge skills development and practical learning. Our unique program serves our local Tri-Cities and surrounding communities by having concentrations in the areas of general management, agribusiness, and healthcare administration.
This position reports to the Dean for Business & Computer Science.
The salary range for this position is $77,693-$81,624 for a 176-day contract over the Instructional Year (Fall/Winter/Spring Quarters). Additional compensation may be available for assignment of summer quarter courses or courses taught outside of the full-time position during fall, winter and spring quarters. This position is in a hard to fill discipline eligible for additional money per MOU 002 - Hard to Fill Supplemental Pay and would receive an additional stipend of $5,950. This is not a guarantee of compensation and is subject to funding.
Relocation expenses are part of the employment offer for the successful candidate if the candidate relocates to the Tri-Cities area from outside of a 175-mile radius.

- Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in business, management, leadership, or related field from an institutionally accredited college or university;
- Two (2) years of experience teaching at an institution of higher education; and
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment, with a focus on supporting the academic success of Hispanic and other underserved populations. Experience incorporating inclusive pedagogy and addressing challenges unique to these populations, informed by both personal and professional insights.
- Doctorate degree in business, management, or related field from an institutionally accredited college or university;
- SHRM designation and/or experience teaching/working in the field of human resource management;
- Experience teaching or working in the field of operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or similar areas as well as accounting and/or finance;
- Knowledge and experience utilizing applied learning teaching methodologies; and
- Bilingual in English and in Spanish.

This is a bargaining unit position represented by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Compensation and benefits are subject to the collective bargaining process. There will be paid comprehensive onboarding and training beginning August 1, 2025, but the contract for this position begins on September 1, 2025. This is a Full-Time One-Year Temporary position.
The College will only sponsor visas for positions in disciplines that are deemed hard to fill or when a search is unlikely to result in a hire. Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Provide proof of lawful permanent residency or other appropriate work authorization as required by the Immigration Reform Control Act of 1986.
