The Community Developmental Disabilities Program (CCDP) provides access to local, regional, and statewide resources for children and adults who experience a developmental disability. In addition to comprehensive case management and service coordination, our staff assist with early Intervention and phase of life transitions. Our team will work closely with eligible individuals to ensure needs are addressed in a comprehensive and collaborative manner.

Position: Eligibility Specialist
Department: Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)
Shift: Full time (40hrs week) In Office
Salary Range: $26.17 -$34.17 (hourly) We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements:
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the position, as approved by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Must have valid Driver’s License.
Summary: The position focuses on providing community education on eligibility criteria, completion of prospective new intakes and the application process, eligibility determination, and eligibility redetermination at various ages of development in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).
Working conditions: This position works in an office environment as well as in the community. This position requires driving to different locations within Columbia County and some occasional driving to locations elsewhere in the Portland Metro. The Service Coordinator will also be available to provide services in the client's residence as needed.
