What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boiler Operator - $2,000 Sign on Bonus position at Columbia Forest Products?
Successful candidates must be able to operate three high-pressure, wood-fired boilers in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain proper steam pressure, water levels and temperatures in boilers, surge tanks and deaerators. Monitor fuel-feed systems and smoke emissions. Accurately record boiler data to daily log sheet. Maintain an updated inventory of tools, chemicals, salt, and other items. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions, provide feedback and apply critical thinking.
12 hour shift schedule with fixed days or nights
Base pay $22.30 - $31.23/hr $1.00/hr shift differential pay for 2nd shift – PLUS:
- Hourly rate based on license level
- Gainshare bonus every 4-6 weeks
- Perfect attendance bonuses and time off
