What are we looking for?
Join our team as a Customer Service-Imaging Processor. In this position you would research and apply payments to customer accounts. Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure accuracy of payment application. Perform imaging/scanning operation on incoming mail. This position reports to our home office in Columbia, MO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Decision lockbox exception items accurately by designated deadlines.
- Research and process outstanding payment controls daily.
- Approve reinstatements within prescribed limits of authority.
- Prepare electronic deposit accurately and completed by designated deadlines.
- Maintain petty cash funds and balance monthly.
- Review assigned reports.
- Unapplied cash maintenance.
- Prepare incoming mail for scanning/imaging.
- Open and sort incoming mail to be distributed throughout the company.
- Scan and index incoming mail by department
- Verify documents were released, and no errors generated.
- Utilize AS400 to look up policy numbers and other insured information to complete the imaging task.
- Utilize ImageRight for verification of existing policy folders and verification of document release.
- Interact with business units as needed to coordinate image verification, form types and processing.
- Perform duties related to scanning of Return Mail
- Assist with mail handling operations
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to be team player.
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A working knowledge of computer billing systems
- A working knowledge of insurance terms and concepts
