We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to effectively identify, treat, and prevent pest infestations in residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and assess the extent of infestations.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and assorted sprayers as needed.
- Provide recommendations for pest prevention and control measures to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits.
- Educate clients on pest management practices and the importance of ongoing maintenance.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety protocols related to pest control.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assorted sprayers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and lawn care practices is a plus.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications related to pest control.
