Hiring a Manager for the Pain Management Clinic
Job Description : This position is responsible for the direct and indirect care of pain management patients on a day-to-day basis, including hands-on patient care in both clinic and procedures. The clinic manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the specialty staff under their charge, as well as developing and monitoring quality improvement issues and assuring competent staff members can meet patient needs. This position will require you to leverage excellent communication skills to build credibility, develop relationships, and navigate team leadership to deliver strong operational performance and provide high-quality clinical care.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing; valid NC or compact state RN license.
- Current BLS. ACLS & CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.
Preferred : BSN, MSN
Experience : Two years' experience as a clinical nurse and in management in a hospital environment, preferably in surgery, pre-op, PACU, ER, cardiac care, or critical care. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude to utilize programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
