*Shift is M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM but may occasionally be required to work Saturdays.
POSITION SUMMARY: Install and maintain computer systems and provide end-user technical support for tribal departments. First line of contact for all technical issues and training for hardware and software required by users for their departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General end-user support for hardware problems including but not exclusive to: Printers, Smartphones, VoIP, Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, and other I/O devices.
- General end-user support for software problems including but not exclusive to: OS drivers, Productivity software, Document and image software, Cloud Services, Database Clients, Installing and updating outdated user software.
- Prepping and installing new equipment for requested departments.
- Ticket resolution management for low-mid-level support requests.
- Logging work, steps taken, and novel solutions for ticket resolution.
- Assisting media specialists during tribal events for basic troubleshooting of equipment, set-up and tear-down, and general sound/video controlling.
- Other duties as assigned.
REPORTS TO: Reports to Director of IT & Deputy Director of IT. Supervises Summer Youth & WIOA workers when applicable.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is physically strenuous and requires lifting and carrying of various pieces of computer equipment from 5 to 40 pounds on a daily basis and up to 60 pounds on occasion. Requires performing work at various heights and using equipment to reach those areas. May require sitting or standing for long periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed year-round indoors and outdoors in a variety of situations. Must be able to travel up to 1 hour or out of state on occasion. All duties performed with reasonable accommodations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field. (preferred)
- CompTIA A required (or able to be obtained within 90 days)
- 2 to 4 years of experience in IT Technical role(s).
- Must possess valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and be insurable under the Comanche Nation’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Must be willing to submit to and pass initial and random drug testing.
