What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at Comcentric Inc.?
We are seeking an Instructional Designer for a 12-month contract onsite in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on creating innovative learning solutions and marketing materials that make a real impact.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement engaging training materials (eLearning, instructor-led training, quick reference guides, job aids, etc.).
- Utilize tools like Articulate, Captivate, and Camtasia to develop interactive courses.
- Administer and manage learning objects, certifications, and reports in the Cornerstone OnDemand LMS.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to address skill gaps and develop employee capabilities.
- Support the implementation of a digital asset management tool for the Marketing and New Products department.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in instructional design and/or technical writing, including:
- 3 years of eLearning course development experience.
- 1 year of LMS administration (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred).
- Proficiency with tools like Articulate, Captivate, and Camtasia, as well as video/audio production.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with ADDIE or SAM models.
Additional Details:
- Contract Duration: 12 months.
- Working Conditions: Primarily office-based, with occasional exposure to outdoor environments.
