Personal Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in assisted living environments, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, and memory care needs. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintaining a tidy living space.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive engagement.
• Administer CPR and first aid as necessary in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of care plans and patient observation techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.01 - $15.47 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
