What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Comfort at Home?
- Completion/ coordination of introduction visits between caregivers and clients
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise day to day activities of the in-home caregivers.
- Staff all client shifts by matching the best caregiver with each client.
- Perform human resource functions which includes managing employee files and keeping them updated. Oversee recruitment activities and orientation of new staff
- Maintain patient and employee files which includes updating and performing monthly compliance checks on patient files
- Maintain Medicaid client and employee files
- Coordinate 90 day reassessment visits
- Assist with invoicing, updating, and filing of care plans etc.
- Handle patient and caregiver issues or concerns related to schedules, complaints etc.
- Perform non-clinical supervisory visits as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.
- Coordinate job fairs, locate good sources for caregiver job applicants and develop applicant database. Prepare daily and weekly recruitment and staffing reports.
- Provide direct care on an as-needed basis & available for call outs and start of care during work hours
- Provide backup caregiver responsibilities for call-outs within work day.
1 year minimum experience as a CNA and 1 year scheduling experience with homecare.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
