Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. This position is 2 days a week, Thursday and Friday starting at 5:30am. Housekeeping would be after breakfast is finished cleaning main hotel areas and assisting in room cleaning or laundry.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food items are properly displayed and replenished as needed
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with any questions or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops
- Clear tables and clean up after guests, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and trash are properly disposed of
- Monitor food levels throughout the breakfast service, restocking as necessary to ensure a continuous supply of fresh items
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
