Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent while also focusing on workforce planning strategies to align our talent needs with business goals. Your expertise in recruiting strategies and workforce analytics will help us create a workforce that drives success.
\n- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals in the industry.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Leverage social media, job boards, and other platforms to increase visibility and connect with potential candidates.
- Conduct workforce planning by analyzing current and future staffing needs, identifying skill gaps, and creating action plans to address them.
- Use data and analytics to forecast labor demand and develop strategies to ensure the availability of required skills and roles.
- Recruit apprentices for our state-accredited apprenticeship program through various outreach events, including job fairs, trade shows, and community partnerships.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and quality of hire, to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, or similar roles, with a strong track record of successful hires and staffing strategies.
- Familiarity with recruitment in the construction industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and workforce planning tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
