CEO is seeking a 10-Month Family Advocate at our Hoosick Falls Center. The Family Advocate should be empathetic, professional and a team player. This position requires a strong sense of the community we serve.

Your Day Would Look Like:
- Responsible for developing partnerships with families by assessing needs, developing a Family Partnership Agreement, conducting home visits, and connecting families with resources to meet their needs.
- Collaborating with other agencies and departments to refer families to necessary resources such as mental health, housing, employment, education and childcare.
- Promotes family engagement in all parent meetings and activities. Ensures and supports
family involvement in program governance and in all aspects of the Head Start. - Responsible for maintaining accurate, organized, confidential, up-to-date records of parent and child data.
- Ability to travel to meetings and trainings at other sites.
What YOU Would Bring:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- Associates/bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and FDC Credential preferred
- Knowledge of community resources for disadvantaged families
- Valid and clean NYS driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required
- 1 years of case management experience
- Prior experience working with disadvantaged families in an advocacy role and knowledge of community resources
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S without the need for Visa Sponsorship.
- Bilingual a plus
