Position overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven health and beauty sales representative to join our team, with a focus on private label liquid and soap products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the health and beauty industry, excellent sales skills, and the ability to guide clients through the customization process. As a sales representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building client relationships, and contributing to the success of our private label business.
Responsibilities: (but not limited to)
Enter Purchase Orders and send to Suppliers
Place and maintain online orders
Maintain Open Order Records, keeping dates current, and posting PO receipts
Frequent follow-up with Suppliers for material needed in production
Process intercompany transfers between divisions
Work with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
Assist Purchasing Agent with maintaining Approved Supplier List in ERP System
Assist Purchasing Agent with product specification sheets and setting up new items in ERP System
Assist Purchasing Agent with sourcing new ingredients/components
Assist Purchasing Agent with ongoing projects
Plus other related duties
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in purchasing, sourcing and/or planning is a plus.
Proven experience as a Purchaser or similar role.
Familiarity with shipping and inventory management software.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and math skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Software.
