DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager 1, you will oversee facility maintenance and trades staff performing routine and specialized maintenance, construction, and repair tasks. You will plan, assign, and coordinate daily operations; determine staffing needs; and submit budgets. In addition, you will revise functional policies and procedures, orient and train staff, and approve supply requisitions. This supervisory role inspects work for adherence to trade standards, responds to after-hours emergencies, and enforces security and custody regulations at all times.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $52,306.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- Two years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman, Utility Plant Supervisor, or Corrections Tradesman Instructor with a specialty in one of the trades of Carpentry, Electrical, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Machinist, Welding, Painting, Automotive, Electronics, or Masonry; or
- Six years of experience in the construction, maintenance or repair of buildings; or the operation, maintenance and repair of utility services equipment, including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
