Watch this videoto see how you can make a difference!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Court Liaison Program Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate placement of adjudicated youth within facilities and specific programs in the Eastern Region. You will serve as a liaison between courts, probation officers, attorneys, and facilities to ensure that youth are placed in the least restrictive and most appropriate setting. You can expect to develop placement, transfer, and diversion plans in conjunction with the facility, probation officers, provider agencies, and attorneys and present these plans in court. In this position, you will visit facilities and conduct intakes through face-to-face interviews with youth. Additionally, you will attend and provide testimony at court hearings.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in theposition description.Work Schedule and Additional Information : Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs. Travel and overtime as needed. Free parking! Salary : Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $58,035.00 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements : Three years of experience working with juveniles, including one year of counseling experience in the area of rehabilitation of delinquent juveniles; and a bachelor's degree;or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements : You must meet thePA residency requirement.
