- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Program Analyst 3, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data using business analysis tools. You will use this information to propose recommendations for improvements to programs and policies. In this position, you will develop statistical and narrative reports and make presentations summarizing program data and trends to inform decisions. Your duties will include managing data modernization and process improvements, conducting risk assessments and cost and impact analysis, managing a network of SharePoint sites, and developing workflows to automate business processes. Additionally, you may be given an assignment to support the public health emergency response mission of the Department of Health.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
