Medical Billing Specialist
Commonwealth Primary Care, Inc. is a primary care physician group with seven office locations throughout the Richmond metropolitan area.
We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Billing Specialist for our fast paced, high call volume Central Billing Office.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in medical office billing. The individual must be a motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Specific duties will include:
· Ability to handle high call volume.
· Proficiency in answering patient billing questions.
· Claims follow-up from system generated A/R reports.
· Daily claim denial management, including claims correction and resubmission.
· Working daily clearinghouse rejection reports.
· Setting up payment plans for patients.
The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:

· Willing to learn new things
· Ability to handle patients concerns in a calm, collected manner
· Proficient in interpreting Explanation of Benefit summaries from multiple payers
This position is full-time, hybrid position, 40 hours per week. Hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm.
