Your Role as a TechnicianAs a Technician at CES Integrated, you will:
- Install and service security systems such as cameras, motion sensors, and door controls.
- Manage video surveillance and intrusion detection projects from start to finish.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and program complex systems, including IP-based devices.
- Work with ranges from apprentices to higher level technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety protocols, and project deadlines.
- Experience & Skills
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, multimeters, and cable installation
- Expertise in troubleshooting and programming security circuits and systems
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to discover and change IP address for Laptop and other IP Devices
- Able to program Intrusion Detection Systems and Video Surveillance systems
- Proficient at installing electrified locking hardware
- Climb ladders (6 ft. routinely, 24 Ft. occasionally)
- Qualifications
- U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable with heights and ladder work (up to 24 ft.)
- Relevant certifications in access control or video systems are a plus
