What You’ll Do As a DSP
- Provide hands-on care, including assistance with daily living, personal care, and household tasks
- Encourage and support individuals in achieving their personal goals and participating in community activities
- Administer medications (training provided) and document health and behavioral updates accurately
- Foster a safe and respectful environment in both home and community settings
- Collaborate with team members, families, and external providers to deliver person-centered care
- Participate in team meetings, professional training, and ongoing development
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Experience in caregiving or social work is a plus but not required – we provide training!
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals ready to advocate for people with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to drive for the company
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related tasks
