Community Christian School (CCS), a mid-sized, Christ-centered school in Tallahassee, is seeking a passionate and nurturing Elementary School Teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. Position Overview:
This full-time teaching position involves planning and delivering instruction in all core subject areas for an elementary classroom. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering both academic growth and spiritual development in young learners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification or working toward certification (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian education
- Experience working with children and partnering with parents
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
- Integrate biblical truth into all subjects and classroom activities
- Foster a safe, Christ-centered classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in school events, chapel, and professional development opportunities
