Community Christian School (CCS) in Tallahassee is seeking a spiritually mature and passionate High School Bible Teacher to teach 9th and 10th grade Bible courses for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an opportunity to disciple students and guide them in developing a strong biblical foundation during their formative years.
Position Overview:
The teacher will lead engaging and theologically sound Bible classes, incorporating Scripture, apologetics, and spiritual formation. The ideal candidate will have a love for God’s Word, a heart for mentoring students, and a commitment to modeling Christ both in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Education, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree or ministry experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Scripture and ability to teach from a biblical worldview
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active involvement in a local church
- Passion for mentoring students and encouraging spiritual growth
Responsibilities:
- Teach 9th and 10th grade Bible courses with clarity, depth, and biblical truth
- Create lesson plans and activities that engage students in Scripture and its real-life application
- Participate in school events, chapels, and discipleship opportunities
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress
- Integrate CCS’s mission and Christian values into all areas of teaching
