Position Overview:
This full-time role will teach:
- 7th Grade Physical Science
- 8th Grade Earth & Space Science

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field (required)
- Teaching certification and/or experience preferred
- Passion for Christian education and mentoring students
- Ability to teach from a biblical worldview and foster classroom engagement

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Educate students in Geometry and other subjects, ensuring comprehension through innovative teaching methods.
- Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing classroom behavior effectively.
- Collaborate with education administration to align teaching strategies with school goals and policies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on educational best practices and learning technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, demonstrating effective teaching strategies.
- Strong understanding of Geometry concepts and ability to convey them clearly to students.
- Familiarity with education administration processes, including curriculum development and assessment methods.
- Experience with standardized testing procedures and the ability to analyze results for student improvement.
- Excellent proofreading skills for preparing instructional materials and assessments.
- Background in scientific research is a plus, enhancing the ability to incorporate real-world applications into lessons.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in utilizing learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery.
