Objective: Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of customer accounts. This position will process all loan related items that are handled by the Loan Operations Department and back up deposit items. This position will be responsible for answering customer calls to resolve issues or answer any questions. This position will work closely with other Loan Operations Employees, Deposit Operations Employees, and Digital Banking Employees to ensure that dual control and appropriate backups are in place.
Classification: This position is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position who reports directly to the Loan Operations Supervisor.
Location: Kokomo-Main Branch Downtown
Duties and Responsibilities: (subject to change with development of department)
- Answering/assisting customer calls and resolving issues.
- Perform all duties and functions related to loans.
- Back up and assist all other areas of the Operations Department when needed.
- Review other miscellaneous reports when needed.
- Other miscellaneous duties/task assigned by the Loan Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Banking Experience or Loan Experience preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Detail Oriented.
- Ability to understand multiple systems/software and be able to complete daily functions.
- Ability to understand how a loan functions and diagnose issues related to a loan.
- Ability to work well with others and make recommendations for changes.
- Ability to provide excellent Customer Service and resolve issues.
- Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines.
- Ability to understand and work within policy and regulatory guidelines.
