Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is currently seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Quick Care unit in our Casper, WY location! Our mission is to provide affordable and high-quality patient care with a comprehensive range of health care services for residents of Central Wyoming, regardless of income, treating all patients with compassion, dignity, and respect.
In Casper, our Quick Care urgent care provides convenient, walk-in service with no appointment needed, Monday through Saturday, from 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM . The weekly schedule would consist of (3) 12-hour shifts per week . We treat non-life-threatening conditions with shorter wait times and less cost than a visit to the emergency room. Laboratory, x-ray, and pharmacy service are available on-site.
Work is performed in a typical outpatient clinic environment and periodically at locations outside the office. Some travel may be required, as we have other rural health clinics located throughout central Wyoming.
Sensitivity to the Needs of Special Populations :
- Ability to understand and respond appropriately, effectively and sensitively to special population groups served by CHCCW (special population groups include, but is not limited to, those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, sex, sexual orientation, economic standing, disabilities, etc.)
