ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Human Resource Coordinator will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the human resources department. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of HR records, overseeing training and policy management systems, and assisting with employee engagement, all while contributing to the continuous improvement of HR practices.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Oversee and coordinate the onboarding documentation process for new hires.
- Assist with new hire data entry and conduct background checks as part of the onboarding process.
- Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of human resources files, records, and documentation.
- Assist in conducting orientation sessions for new hires and manage the onboarding of providers.
- Oversee and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and the organization’s training program.
- Oversee and manage the Policy Management System, including auditing opportunities and assisting leaders with policy updates and changes.
- Assist in Human Resources reporting as requested by internal and external entities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR procedures, policies, and the development of HR objectives and metrics.
- Assist in the coordination and administration of employee recognition programs.
- Support the planning and execution of special events, including organization-wide meetings, benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, and wellness programs.
- Assist the Human Resources department in communication to employees regarding a variety of changes, including but not limited to policies and procedures.
- Provides general clerical support to the Human Resources Department.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources or relevant experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and effectively manage time.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and maintain confidentiality.
