Job Description:
The Recruiter is primarily responsible for talent sourcing and attracting candidates for designated hard-to-fill positions by using databases, social media, job/career fairs, and other mechanisms supported by the hiring strategy.
The recruiter closely collaborates with the HR Business Partners to identify positions to source and fully understand the role and responsibilities of the job so the appropriate audience is targeted to fill the needs. The recruiter may be assigned any aspect of the hiring process including, but not limited to, initial candidate screening and routine relief of the Onboarding Coordinator role during peak hiring times, vacations, and as needed (not to exceed 40% of workload average).
This role facilitates orientation and may be assigned as trainer where appropriate. Assists in establishing procedures to ensure effective efforts in recruitment activities, including coordinating events for nursing and allied health programs and maintaining the referral bonus eligible position list. Completes other duties as assigned.
Experience
Prior experience in a healthcare human resources environment required. Prior Experience sourcing and screening applicants.
Must be proficient in the use of computers utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to create and use PowerPoint presentations and adapt and effectively use HRIS system and other software programs as necessary. High level of demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relate and interact well with other employees at all levels. Willingness and ability to accept any HR/education assignments appropriate for this level work (or below).
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience including pertinent courses.
Licensure/Certifications
National HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.)
