Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily delivery room preparation, schedules, and team assignments, adapting to staff competencies, absences, and add-on cases.
- Oversee patient care and ensure physician, staff, and patient satisfaction.
- Lead and maintain nursing operations, including updating policies, enforcing guidelines, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Manage nursing staff by recruiting, training, scheduling, and providing performance feedback.
- Foster patient independence and satisfaction by establishing care goals, offering support, and addressing service requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compassionate care environment by designing procedures, enforcing protocols, and monitoring standards.
- Monitor financial objectives, manage budgets, and maintain equipment and supply inventories.
- Support the Magnet Recognition Program and professional development through education and collaboration.
- Assist with direct patient care, including circulating, scrubbing, and taking call as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors and at least five (5) years of experience and training in Labor, Delivery, and Recovery &
Postpartum and 5 years of Leadership/Directorship experience - Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
Compensation:
- $55.00 - $63.25, based on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
