Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain up-to-date financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (PDS) to manage financial data efficiently.
- Stay current with technical accounting standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a non-profit environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- A degree in Accounting or Experience in Bookkeeping is required.
