Community School of Naples (CSN) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented Lower School teacher. The grade level assigned will be decided later, after enrollment and staffing needs are determined, and will most likely be somewhere between Kindergarten and Grade 5. This full-time position starts in August 2025. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, performing as a high-level teacher preparing our students for the highly competitive education they will continue to receive as they progress through our school.

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in education with three years of classroom experience or a master’s degree in elementary education with one year of classroom experience.
- Prior independent school experience is preferred.
- Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to handle conversations with students, parents, and colleagues with tact, diplomacy and grace.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, high-stakes environment.
- Commitment to participating in professional organizations, conferences, subject-related competitions, etc.
Physical Demands/ Ability to:
- Lift/ carry equipment up to 30 lbs.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Sit at a desk while working on the computer.
- Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, climb, balance on a regular basis.
- Withstand outside weather conditions as needed.
- Detect and exchange accurate information.
- Have close visual acuity to perform essential functions of the job.
- Withstand a moderate noise level in the work environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
This appointment is for the 2025/2026 academic year starting with orientation on August 6, 2025, and is paid on an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and qualifications.
