CSET is currently seeking to hire a Senior Program Specialist to fill a vacant position in the Expanded Subsidized Employment (ESE) program located at our Porterville Employment Connection office.
The qualified candidate must be a motivated and knowledgeable individual who is willing to work with people from diverse backgrounds to join our Employment Connection team. This role will support program participants by providing case management, career coaching, and facilitating job readiness workshops to prepare individuals for job search in the Porterville area.

SCOPE OF WORK :
This position's purpose is to provide Tulare County residents with vocational counseling, supportive services, and career planning assistance. The incumbent is responsible for providing opportunities for potential customers in low-income communities to access WIOA Career Services and enroll in the ESE program.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about individuals through records, tests, interviews and professional sources, to appraise their interests, aptitudes, abilities and personal characteristics for vocationalMaintains case management files, documents contact with customers, employers, school staff and other partners and provide all required documentation in a timelyPrepares and modifies documents including correspondence, reports, memos andServes as a customer liaison responding to customer problems, questions or concerns and coordinates with the proper agency personnel to provide timely and accurate answers for theFollow-up with customers and agencies as appropriate to document use / success ofProvides documentation to partneringInputs accurate and complete data for all contacts with customers into agencyFacilitates one-to-one counseling, case management, orientations and workshops to assist in preparation for job readiness, assist with resume building and help participants navigateRemains updated on occupational and local labor market information, program requirements, and regulations affectingRefers customers to other CSET program resources as applicable via the internal referralCompiles and studies occupational, educational, and economic information to aid in making and carrying out vocational and educationalParticipates in outreach events and meetings with partner agencies asParticipates in training and professional development to build required knowledge for thePerforms other duties including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies andSKILLS & ABILITIES :
