GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Responsible for collection of blood samples from patients of all ages.
• Facilitates collection and transportation of laboratory specimens.
• Ensure proper identification of all patients and specimens.
• Practice infection control standards at all times.
• Maintains quality results by following department procedures.
• Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Travel to other CWH sites to assist as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
• BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Current Phlebotomy Certification.
• Clean driving record with current NC driver’s license and approved by corporate vehicle insurance vendor for driving privileges
