Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and motivated SLP-A who is passionate about speech therapy, collaboration, and leadership development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapy services and an interest in taking on supervisory and administrative responsibilities over time.
ResponsibilitiesDirect Therapy (Core Duties)
✔ Provide individual and small-group therapy for children with speech sound disorders, articulation difficulties, and language delays.
✔ Implement evidence-based treatment plans developed by a licensed SLP.
✔ Maintain accurate session notes and documentation using our EMR system.
✔ Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support students’ communication goals.
Leadership Development (Growth Pathway)
Phase 1 (6-12 months):
- Support curriculum planning for speech enrichment programs, screening clinics and small groups.
- Participate in training and 1:1 mentorship sessions.
Phase 2 (12-18 months):
- Take on additional mentorship responsibilities, such as guiding new SLP-As.
- Assist in program evaluations and therapy curriculum development.
Phase 3 (2 years - Clinical Director Track):
- Lead workshops for schools and parents on speech therapy strategies.
- Oversee program expansion and therapist training.
- Assist in business development, hiring, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
Required:
✔ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
✔ Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP-A (strong preference for candidates with 5 years).
✔ Proficiency in articulation and language therapy for pediatric populations.
✔ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
Experience in leadership, mentorship, or clinical supervision.
Knowledge of literacy-based speech therapy practices.
Interest in event planning, workshop hosting, or community outreach.
