We are actively seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Nurse LPN to join our compassionate care team at Compass Health Network. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, accurately taking histories and vital signs.
- Organize and equip exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Execute venipunctures, urinalysis, EKGs, and other procedures as directed by medical professionals.
- Administer immunizations and injections while maintaining patient documentation.
- Educate and instruct patients regarding their health needs.
- Maintain sterilization and preparation of medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with scheduling tests and treatments, ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Screen and manage incoming calls, providing appropriate referrals and documentation.
- Ensure the integrity of patient files, records, and information management.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including CLIA and OSHA regulations, to maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Monitor and order medical supplies as necessary to support clinic operations.
- Participate in required training and uphold professional ethical standards.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Practical Nursing certificate is necessary for Nurse LPN candidates.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience is required if medical assistant certification is not obtained.
- Preferred experience includes at least two (2) years in a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with medical office terminology, procedures, and equipment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
