Job Overview

Join our expanding team at Compass Health as a dedicated Nurse (LPN/RN). We are thrilled to offer a $3000 sign-on bonus to attract talented nurses who are committed to improving the lives of our clients. This full-time nursing role requires you to work three days a week, including every Saturday, at our Wentzville and St. Charles locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the Medication Clinic and provide nursing coverage to support physician schedules at our Lebanon behavioral health clinic.
• Serve as a case manager for clients needing medication refills and ensure timely assistance.
• Prepare for dynamic scheduling and travel to neighboring clinics to offer nursing coverage and training.
• Review and discuss medication education materials with clients.
• Complete all necessary documentation related to the medication clinic and psychiatric consultations for client records.
• Administer intramuscular medications, dispense sample medications, and maintain precise logs for all medications received and distributed.
• Assist clients with prior authorization processes and maintain an updated list of injections.
• Coordinate the ordering and delivery of medications, verify orders, and address potential side effects with clients.
• Conduct vital sign assessments and manage the prediabetes screening process.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong communication abilities and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and travel between clinics as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a GPN, LPN, GN, or RN designation and pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
• A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
